Overview
Short on time but set on seeing mountain gorillas? This trip goes straight to Bwindi, home to almost half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. You trek with expert trackers and an armed ranger, spend a full hour with a habituated family, and still have time to meet the Batwa community who once lived in this forest. The drive from Entebbe is long but scenic, crossing the equator and the terraced hills of south-west Uganda. Ask us about a domestic flight if you'd rather cut it to under two hours.
- One hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family
- Optional Batwa community visit
- Equator crossing en route
- Gorilla permit, park fees and transfers included
